Load ndisplay config in unreal

looking to try the calib3d data on an existing ndisplay setup directly in unreal.
but loading a lightact .ndisplay config in unreal 5.4, it will crash

i understand this might seem out of the scope of lightact as middleware,
using the calib data while being able to edit the ndisplay project in unreal can be a good adaptation phase

Hi @ggml ,

Thanks for reaching out.

Can you please confirm which version of the UE plugin you are using? Also, I assume you have correctly added the path to UE5.4 in Edit → Preferences → UE, and that you have chosen Unreal Engine 5.4 under Edit → Project Setting→ UE, right?

I assume that the crash happens when you click on Launch nDisplay button, in the UnrealLink window, correct? If so, what crashes, LightAct, or Unreal?

If it’s LightAct that crashes, I assume you get prompted with a BugSplat window. In this case, could you please send us the Error report by clicking on the Send Error Report button?

Best,

to retrieve the 3dcalib data i tried loading the .ndisplay file in unreal, which crashed.
but to be able to keep the 3dcalib points in unreal, which was my stated goal,
i realised i can unlink the liveact camera once it is calibrated

Hi @ggml ,

So if I understand correctly, everything works as expected now?

When you say you realized you can unlink the camera, does that mean you were using LiveLink? Or did I misunderstand?

Thanks.

Best,
Sara
